THE MIDNIGHT FERRY IS BAAACCCKKK!!!!

BECOME A "FREQUENT FLOATER"

TAKE THE PLEDGE.  If keeping the midnight ferry is important to you, pledge to take yourself and your tribe on a ferry ride once a week, once a month, twice a month.  Do what works for you, put it on your calendar and keep to your word.   Take a bike ride.  Go to dinner.  Listen to some music. it doesn't matter if you stay out until midnight, or ride in the middle of the day.  We just need 150 more souls every day.

MAKE IT A PARTY.  Friends of the Ferry is intends to solicit deals from Eastbank restaurants and bars within walking distance to the ferry, helping to make keeping your pledge a pleasure.  And not to forget our own dear cafes and pubs, we will reach out to hotel concierges and the ferry workers so they know what's over here.

HELP FRIENDS OF THE FERRY FLOAT YOUR BOAT!

FOF's very first rally was, "Bring Back the Midnight Ferry!" which was discontinued in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.  Now, a mere 19 years alter, we are on the cusp of getting this service back.

THANK YOU, RTA!!!!!

Help FOF spread the word by becoming a human billboard, reminding everyone we must use it or lose it.

Navy blue.  V-Neck.  Great Quality.  Available in S, M, L, XL.   $23 each.

Order by June 8th.  Delivery by June 27th.  T-shirts can be picked up at 525 Pelican or we'll drop it by your Algiers Point home.  If out of New Orleans, we will mail at our cost.

Two ferries operate in the Greater New Orleans area. A pedestrian-only ferry runs between Canal Street (French Quarter) and Algiers Point.  A car ferry operates between Chalmette & Lower Algiers. Both are accessible for scooters and bicycles.
