Algiers Point Association - The Algiers Point Association was established as a residents civic organization in 1972 to promote historic interest, perserve the architectural integiry and to promote the civic betterment and social improvement of the residents of Algiers Point.
Confetti Kids - A grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of children in Algiers Point by maintaining neighborhood parks and fostering a sense of community by bringing neighbors together for child-centered programming. All Confetti Kids events are open to the public.
Friends of the Ferry - Friends of the Ferry is a grass roots organization created, post-Katrina, in response to the LA DOTD’s decree that the Canal St. ferry would no longer run until midnight. We have been working since then to "save the ferries." With the management of TransDev under the Regional Transit Authority, our ferries have never been safer! Join our email list.
Friends of the Hubbell Library - Our library is the Cita Dennis Hubbell Branch of the the New Orleans Public LIbrary. It is a Carnegie library dating from 1907, and the city's oldest public library.
